Journal [4] What is your favourite month ? Why?MY FAVOURITE MONTH IS JULY.....AS YOU KNOW , IT IS RACIAL HARMONY DAY ...... I GET TO WEAR MY MALAY COSTUME !!(YAY) ! I LOVE WEARING !FOR RACIAL HARMONY DAY.......WE GET TO SHARE OUR INTERESTS WITH OUR FRIENDS WHO ARE HAVING A DIFFERENT RACE AS ME ! I GET TO LEARN THE CULTURE , THEIR RELIGION , THEIR TRADITIONAL FOOD THEY EAT...AND MORE THAT I JUST CANNOT THINK !!! (LOL)WHAT IS SO GOOD ABOUT THAT FESTIVAL ?? I WILL TELL YOU MORE THEN ....21st July marks the celebration of Racial Harmony Day in Singapore, whereby we, the multi-racial society, envelop each others’ differences and learn more about each other’s culture. For years, one of the practices done on this day is for students in government schools to dress up in traditional costumes, most of the time, the costume of a different race.
